Socrates

Socrates(470 B. C.- 399 B. C.) Greek philosopher
considered one of the biggets talents of philosophy and one of the three most important philosophers of Greece.
during that time, the beuaty was a really important thing and he was ugly, he wasnt a citizen.
one of the first persons to talk about ethics.
when he was born his father recived a tip from the oracul of leaving socrates to leave without repressing his impulses.
when he was young everubody around him was suprised with his reasonings and his hability to talk.
a curios thing abiut socrates it that he didnt write any phylosophical text.
plato was a big fan of him, all of his history, life, and his philosophy is based on writings by plato and other students and contemporaries
philosophers, artist, poets believe they have knowledge but socrates was councious of the ignorance that sourround him and his own, what motivated him to make people be concious of his knoledge.
Pretending to know less, talking to people and then made them notice their mistakes, this was called "Socratic irony".
expressed on his famous phrase "I only know that I know nothing "
The wisdom of Socrates is not the accumulation of knowledge, but to review the knowledge you have and from there build more solid knowledge.
Socrates never wrote any work because he believed that everyone should develop their own ideas. We know their ideas because Plato relied on them to write their dialogues.
faith caused her death by hemlock poisoning, which was senteciado by a court where the trial of Socrates was forbidden to speak
